I was recently sent a sample of unreleased liquid called Black and Yellow. This eliquid is from the minds of Eric Trotter (The Force Vapor) and Andy Han (The Vape Unit). Black and Yellow should be released in the next few weeks but I’ll happily test out a preproduction version.
- RBA/Box: Derringer / Snow Wolf 200w
- Build: 24 gauge dual coil kanthal, 6 wrap, 0.22 ohms. Fresh Japanese cotton.
Black and Yellow’s flavor profile is a Peach Iced Tea (reminiscent to Snapple’s drink). I started at 65w which is pretty typical for my build and preferences. My first impression is of a strong tea with a peach back. The flavor is clean tasting, not a hint artificial or over sweetened. Excellent at first taste. On the exhale, more peach and a hint of some other citrus flavor. Still sweet but not overly.
Vapor production is full and plentiful. This is definitely a high VG liquid. I’m not sure on the actual blend percentages but from the viscosity I can see in the bottle, it looks to be at least 30/70 PG/VG.
After a 15 minutes, I’m still enjoying this liquid. Good on a summer/hot day, late afternoon or evening. It probably wouldn’t be my first choice for the morning but that’s just preference.
To get one more impression of the liquid, I turned down the wattage to 55w and closed off the air holes on my Derringer to 1 and 2 air holes. The flavor was even more plentiful but not overpowering.
Overall, I’m very impressed with this liquid. I think that many people would enjoy this liquid once it’s released.
